Types of rollers
1. Single steel wheel vibrating roller
Single steel wheel vibrating roller has the characteristics of large static linear load, deep compaction impact, and high operating efficiency. It can effectively compact various types of non-viscous soils such as sand, gravel, gravel, and other non-viscous soils, crushed stone, block stone, and piled stone. It is suitable for earthwork foundation compaction construction such as roads, airports, embankment filling, seaports, dams, etc.
2. Double steel wheel vibrating roller
Double steel wheel vibrating roller is mainly suitable for compaction of asphalt concrete, RCC concrete and other pavements, and can also be used for compaction of roadbed, sub-roadbed and stable layer.
3. Tire roller
Tire roller is a compaction machine that relies on its own gravity and uses special pneumatic tires to increase the density of the working medium by static compaction of the pavement material. It is widely used in the compaction of the base layer, sub-base layer, backfill and asphalt surface layer of various materials; especially in the compaction of asphalt pavement, its unique flexible compaction function cannot be replaced by other compaction equipment. It is the main machine for the re-compaction of asphalt mixtures and an ideal compaction equipment for the construction of high-grade highways, airports, ports, dams and industrial construction sites.
Classification of rollers
Generally, compaction machinery can be divided into rollers and tamping machinery. According to the different working quality range, compaction principle and specific structure, the classification of rollers is also different.

3. According to the compaction wheel structure and action mode

(2) According to the compaction wheel combination type, road rollers can be divided into tire-smooth wheel combination type, vibration-oscillation combination type, etc.
(3) According to the compaction wheel action mode, vibratory rollers can be divided into vibration type, oscillation type and vertical vibration type, etc.
4. According to the operation and driving mode

According to the type of transmission mechanism, rollers can be divided into mechanical transmission type, hydraulic mechanical transmission type, hydraulic mechanical transmission type and full hydraulic transmission type.
